It was time to book flights from The Netherlands to North Macedonia, the question was of course who was coming along. Our daughters were very tempted, booking a holiday at this time still comes with a lot of risks even when you are fully vaccinated as the rules seem to change weekly, sometimes daily.

Roseanne decided, after working hard to achieve her Masters in Law and Society at Leiden university that she had certainly earned a week of rest and relaxation, so she hopped on the plane with us for the first week.

Of course we also had an hidden agenda, last time we were here we had spotted a very nice swinging chair which we coveted and now the garden was looking more like a garden instead of a wasteland we knew where we were headed!

Within 2 hours it was bought, delivered and we put it together, just sitting and relaxing enjoying the view with of course the mandatory Gin & Tonic!
