Macedonian Cooking

When I realised that I would probably be spending more time in North Macedonian once the house was finished I had one demand. A bread-maker.

Eating Bread on holiday is always something that tastes so good! Probably because I don’t usually eat a lot of bread. Anyway with this in mind I thought if I eat the Macedonian bread for more than a week I will have a serious problem. The details of which I will not go into on this blog.

Bread-maker machine bought.

I love baking, and I sometimes bake my own bread, but not on a regular basis, so being a novice I decided to ‘import’ my trusty bread flour to experiment with and refine the proces.

All went well, the smell of home baked bread wafted through the house and we all waited with anticipation for the Dark wholewheat bread with 7- grains to be devoured.

Then the time came that my supply of flour was used up. But have no fear, I had found the ‘whole wheat’ flour.

A child could make it.

How does this

result in this?

Still tasted pretty good though!
