Sometimes and always for an unknown reason Kocani is sometimes plunged into darkness, or during the day everything goes quiet. It’s always quite eerie isn’t it when the power fails, only then do you realise how much background noise there is, the fridge hums, the coffee machine whirs, the radio sings along and then nothing….
Anyway I was wondering how come this happens when I was walking around Kocani and I saw the above telegraph pole. And it was not just one, they were all the same.
I thought it’s surprising it’s only a power-cut and not a complete short circuit whereby the whole town disappears in a cascade of exploding telegraph poles.
A while ago Johan requested an internet connection and the company said as it is a new area there were no cables yet, but they would see what they could do.

A few days later Johan came home from work and noticed there was a cable to the house from the already full telegraph pole nearby.
His internet connection was ready for use.
Sometimes life is just so simple.
